ages 19 months and 7 years, visited last week.
As I told them , it was the only fun I have had all summer. And then the news came on about
the shootings in Colorado:
and I held them a little tighter
and I kissed them a little longer
and I told them how much I loved them
and I realized my back pain wasn't so bad
and I praised God for their safe trip
and I prayed for the families in Colorado
"How precious is Your unfailing love, O God. All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of Your
wings," Psalm 36:7 NLT
"For I hold you by your right hand-I, The Lord your God. And I say to you, Don't be afraid.
I am here to help you," Isaiah 41:13 NLT
Hi Peggy,
ReplyDeleteStrange how something like a sensless tragedy can change our whole perspective.
Lovely family!
~God Bless~
There has to be a God-embedded kind of cure for any pain that comes from special grandkids, you think? I'm glad you had that special time with your daughter and cute grandchildren. I like to remind myself that through our trials, God is always drawing us nearer, reassuring us of what is to come. Take care and may His strength always be yours sister Peggy.
